The device has an evaluation unit provided in a housing (110) connected with a plastic process connection block (100) that is designed in the form of a socket. A slit-like opening is provided as a holder (140) for a sensor board in the block. The board has a pressure measuring cell i.e. thin silicon disk, including two medium-contacting surfaces that are provided opposite to front and rear sides of the board. Pressure channels are provided in the block and partially guided via the holder, so that ends of the holder are aligned with the surfaces and O-rings.
