The closing system (1) has a rotary latch (3) and a pawl (4), which is operated with a motor pawl drive (5). The pawl is separated by an actuator of the pawl drive. The motor-driven pawl drive is a motor operated drive rail (7) with a slotted lever (8). A stopper of the pawl provided in the slotted lever, runs internally or externally in radial manner, and is lifted by the actuator.
