Described is a DC-DC auto-tracking resonant converter with self-monitoring of the transfer efficiency as an embedded system, with - at least one frequency-controllable DC-AC inverter (inverter), - a transmission unit consisting of a resonant circuit, possibly of two individual, of the type of construction, congruent transmission halves, the electrical power from the inverter to the converter transmits, - at least one AC-DC converter (power converter) with passive rectification, - (at least) an auto-tracking unit, the adaptive frequency adjustment, by location and Level of the current curve (resonant circuit curve) to the zero point, enforced by the inverter and thus determines the transfer efficiency of the DC-DC resonant converter as an embedded system, monitored and optionally optimized. In particular, the resonant transmission path effects an internal reactive power compensation by tuning the resonance frequency as a function of the resonant components and their value changes.
