The motor (1) has a movable part (11) made of an electrically conductive material and rotating around a rotational axis (y). A conductive contact to a stationary part (10) is formed by the movable part, where current flows through the movable part and causes movement of the movable part relative to the stationary part. The movable part rolls at the stationary part, and a rolling contact (17) is used for current conduction. The movable part is formed as a cylinder (12), and is connected with a shaft (7) for rotary drive and/or rotary output.
