The method involves forming a vapor pressure curve for a substance based on an equation related to a reduced vapor pressure, a reduced temperature, a substance independent constant and a substance specific constant. Result of vapor pressure calculation is utilized with the equation during optimization of a technical process. The reduced vapor pressure is a ratio of vapor pressure and normal pressure. The reduced temperature is a ratio of a difference between boiling temperature and normal temperature, and the boiling temperature.
