The rail has two anchor blades, which are connected together by a connection point e.g. welded joint, plastic injection part or form fit connection (8). The anchor rail is formed in C-shape, and the connection point is arranged at a base (4) of the anchor rail. The connection point is formed by connection bars, which are connected with the anchor blades. The blades comprise a barbed hook-like undercuts, and are provided with holes or recesses. An interior space (12) of the anchor rail is formed with an elastic filling body (13), which is connected with a rigid bottom lath (15). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an anchor rail.
