The centrifugal separator has a rotor arranged in a housing and rotating around rotor axis. Multiple disks (20) are provided with surface areas on concave sides, where the disk surface area is designed for forming coalescence elements causing coalescence of smaller fluid droplets to larger fluid droplets. A ring area of the coalescence elements is made of fabric, metal wire or plastic wire.
