The machine (1) has a cabin (2) for a driver or operator, and an acoustic insulation-hollow space (3) connected with the cabin by an acoustic insulation opening (4). The hollow space is formed at a cabin cover or a cabin floor. Cross section of the insulation opening is changeable by an adjusting device (5) in a range of zero to 500 square centimeters such that cabin air resonant frequency is damped within a range of 10 to 100 hertz. The hollow space has a volume of 5 percent of the cabin volume.
