The device has transportable flexible hoses (1) fillable and emptyable with water. Inner ribs are inserted into the hoses, where each hose is fixable at a base by fastening elements (5). The hoses are made of waterproof polymer material or other plastics, by welding a foil strip within an area. The hoses are waterproofly connectable with one another in a hose longitudinal direction. The hoses comprise inflow- and drain holes (3) that are arranged at regular distances in the hose longitudinal direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a mobile flood protection mechanism.
