The passenger vehicle (1) has a roof element, which is moved by a guiding device (14) from a closing position below a stationary fixed element (10) into a rest position behind the fixed element. The guiding device has two connecting rods (21,22), which are linked to the fixed element and roof element (12). The roof element is carried through a guiding movement of an upper output position in a lower intermediate position, when the connecting rods are rotated around a rotational axis.
