The car (1) has a roof element (12) movable from a closing position below a fixed element (10) i.e. anti-rollover bar, to a rest position behind or below the fixed element by a guiding device (14). The guiding device comprises two levers (16), which are laterally and inwardly attached to the fixed element in a pivotable manner, so that the levers allow guided movement of the roof element from an upper initial position into a lower intermediate position. A locking element is provided at each lever.
