The friction false twisting device has housing (1) and three friction spindles (2.1,2.2,2.3) arranged in a triangle. A bearing bush (5.1) is assigned to each friction spindle inside the housing for supporting an undamped bearing unit (11). The bearing bushes are held in multiple housing recesses (6.1) of the housing. An elastic clamping device (10) is provided, by which one of the bearing bush is clamped elastically within the housing recess in axial direction. The elastic clamping device is formed from a dimensionally stable supporting body and an elastomer body.
