The object e.g. helmet (40), has a retaining element (43) i.e. retaining cushion, that fixedly lies at a usage location i.e. body location, in a fastening condition. The element is positionable from the usage location in a positioning condition. Volume of the element is achieved in the fastening condition by a natural balanced condition of active forces. The volume is actively reducible for achieving the positioning condition. Hollow spaces (45) inside the element is filled with fluid i.e. air. The element is filled with a reversible filler material (44).
