The system has a stationary bearing component i.e. bearing plate (16) or bearing flange (18), and a movable bearing component i.e. hub (20) or bearing sleeve (14), forming a bearing gap (24). A pair of sealing units includes a pair of sealing components (38, 46) that are arranged at the stationary bearing component. The sealing components together with the stationary bearing component form a pair of compensation gaps (42, 50) i.e. capillary gap, and together with the movable bearing component form a pair of sealing gaps (40, 48) i.e. capillary seal.
