The condition monitoring method involves filling the steel tube construction with a gas or gas mixture at a pressure which is above the ambient pressure at the base of foundations. The gas pressure is detected and the pressure flow of the gas is evaluated. An alarm is released during a slow-or significant pressure drop that is not based on an ambient temperature drop.
