摘要

The method involves detecting extended close range approximately around a motor vehicle, and measuring a distance to objects, which are provided in the extended close range. A critical object is computed, where the critical object exhibits a shortest geometrical or temporal distance between the object in the close range and the motor vehicle. The computation of the critical object is made by sorting measuring points into a three dimensional-environment model or three-dimensional point set. A rear view mirror is adjusted such that the critical object moves drivers into a field vision.
