The motor vehicle air conditioning system (1) has a housing (3) and a refrigerant evaporator for cooling air that is guided into an interior of the motor vehicle. A receiving device (7) or a discharge channel (6) is made of an elastic or expandable material and is provided with a structure for changing position or form of the receiving device or a discharge channel during assembly of the motor vehicle air conditioning system. The structure reduces the flexural rigidity. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a device for guiding water, particularly condensed water; and (2) a method for producing and assembling of components of a motor vehicle.
