The method involves sticking multiple foil sheets together at predetermined with one another, where foil sheets are provided in a block in a cell structure. The block is cut into multiple cell structure sections. A continuous cell structure web is manufactured from the individual cell structure sections. The manufactured cell structure web is expanded continuously to a honeycomb-shaped cell structure web. The honeycomb-shaped cell structure web is continuously provided as panel with a cover skin. An independent claim is also included for a plate-shaped panels producing device comprising an expansion mechanism.
