The arrangement has a water turbine (2) for driving a generator (3). A supply line (5) supplies water to the turbine. A discharge line (7) discharges water from the turbine. A component cooling circuit (9) with liquid or gaseous coolant cools components of a hydroelectric power station (1). A heat exchanger (10) is integrated in the component cooling circuit. A main-heat exchanger (13) is integrated in a main-cooling circuit (11) and is arranged in the supply line or in the discharge line. The heat exchanger of the component cooling circuit is integrated in the main-cooling circuit.
