The dryer (1) has cooling arrangements (6, 7) for cooling and condensing process air stream after passing through a treatment chamber (5). A heating arrangement (8) for heating the process air stream before passing through the treatment chamber, where the heating arrangement includes two heat exchanger through which heat from working fluid is supplied to the process air stream. A predetermined separation point (12) is formed in a separation wall (11a) for temporary opening of a maintenance opening guided by the separation wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for opening a maintenance opening in a separation wall of a laundry dryer.
