The measuring device has a sensor element (10) with a metal carrier (1) and ohmic resistances (5), welded to a metal body (2), the deformation of which produces a measurable electrical signal. The weld seam (4) passes all the way round the metal carrier and penetrates right through the joint between the metal body and the carrier.
