Curtain coating tool for coating a running paper-, cardboard or other fiber material web with a fluid to pasty coating medium, comprises a curtain coating head arranged above the fiber material web, and a coating medium chamber
The curtain coating tool comprises a curtain coating head (3) arranged above a running paper-, cardboard or other fiber material web (2), a coating medium chamber (4, 4.1, 4.2) with a supply column (5, 5.1, 5.2) branching off from the coating medium chamber. The width of the curtain coating head corresponds to the width of the fiber material web. The supply column extends in a discharge slit nozzle for the respective coating medium and/or comprises an external sliding face that reaches to the surface of the coating head up to a tear-off edge (8). The curtain coating tool comprises a curtain coating head (3) arranged above a running paper-, cardboard or other fiber material web (2), a coating medium chamber (4, 4.1, 4.2) with a supply column (5, 5.1, 5.2) branching off from the coating medium chamber. The width of the curtain coating head corresponds to the width of the fiber material web. The supply column extends in a discharge slit nozzle for the respective coating medium and/or comprises an external sliding face that reaches to the surface of the coating head up to a tear-off edge (8) from which the gravity following from the fiber material web falls on the respective coating medium in the form of single- or multi-layered curtain and produces a single or multi-layered coating layer. The curtain coating head comprises a hole and/or tubular channel passing over the total width of the coating head. The hole and/or the tubular channel receive a rotation symmetrical nozzle body. In the nozzle body, a part of the supply column and/or the discharge slit nozzle is incorporated for the respective coating medium. The discharge slit is lockable or releasable through the rotation of the respective nozzle body within the coating head and is reachable by discontinuing and/or breaking or starting the coating process. The nozzle body used in the tubular channel is rotatable in or against the hand direction. The coating medium chamber is incorporated in the rotatable nozzle body. The rotatable nozzle bodies are arranged parallel to each other. The individual nozzle body is adjustable independently from one another. The tubular channel, the external surface of the nozzle body and/or also the supply column are smoothed and/or polished.
