The spring washer (10) has a sectioned flexible switch (12) which is separated through a narrow gap (11) from a rod (14). The rod represents a narrow area between the flexible switch and a channel wall (1.1). The flexible switch has elastic characteristics defined for bending to pass the damper fluid in the forward direction. The rod is rigid and is arranged in fixed manner to absorb a flowing force of the flowing damper fluid and to ensure a sealing function for the channel wall. An independent claim is included for a damper with adjustment unit.
