Binder (1) has a lengthwise extending flexible band (2), an locking head (3) at one end of band and a middle area of the band divided into two adjacent sections (6,7) through a slit (5) extending along its length. The turned in inner narrow sides of the secions are spaced from one another and each respectively have a set of lock-in teeth (8). The locking head is pushed into the slit, slid into it and held by the lock-in teeth.
