The gripper has a trapezoid threaded spindle that is driven by an electric motor. The trapezoid threaded spindle effectively connects movable gripper arms over an attachment part. An electric motor turn-off device (40) is arranged between the movable gripper arms and a drive unit. The turn off device has two attachment units, where the middle attachment unit is arranged at the chain or the trapezoid threaded spindle is movably supported opposite to the other attachment unit arranged at the gripper arms by spring force.
