The refrigerator has a carrier (100) for goods to be cooled, where the carrier is arranged in a refrigerating chamber. A cooling storage (101) i.e. latent cooling storage, is provided at the outer side of the carrier for cooling the carrier, where the outer side of the carrier is turned away from a carrying area. The carrier is designed as a case e.g. cheese tray, and the cooling storage is fastenable at a lower side of the carrier. The cooling storage is insertable under an insertable base of the carrier or is connectable with a lower side of the insertable base.
