The box is designed such that a short message service is notified, when a caller, who calls a cellular phone number, does not reach the number, and when a desired partner is reachable. A personal absence message comprises pre-determined texts, which are individually set by a user of the phone. The texts are standardized by a cellular phone supplier and sent to a calling subscriber without paying attention to the user. Service extension information is provided in individual adjustable messages. The texts are sent in an automatic manner, when the cellular phone is switched-off.
