The system has an electrically actuated control valve (11) for controlling a lift drive (10). Locking valve devices (30a, 30b) are provided in connection lines (26a, 26b) of the valve. A control pressure chamber (31) of each device acts in a direction of a locking position and is loaded in a lowering operation of the drive. The devices comprise a load compensation function during the lowering operation of the drive. The pressure chamber stays in communication with the connection lines by a control pressure line (33), and a throttle device (41) is arranged in the pressure line.
