摘要

The component has a surface provided with an antibacterial nano-coating, where the nano-coating exhibits a silver ion coating. The coating exhibits a silicone-free siloxane connection to avoid adhering of the component with manual contact. A communication unit transmits data over the component, where the communication unit is formed as a radio frequency identification (RFID) transponder and is readable by a reader. The transponder is arranged in a housing of the component, and the communication unit includes a light signal module. An independent claim is also included for a method for applying an antibacterial nano-coating on a surface of an access component for a door or a gate.
