Heat recovery system for motor vehicle, has Rankine-circuit provided with working medium, which is cooled to condensation temperature by condenser, where condensation temperature is not smaller than preset degree Celsius
The system has an internal combustion engine provided with an exhaust gas system, and a Rankine-circuit provided with working medium e.g. water. The exhaust gas system is thermally coupled to the Rankine-circuit. The working medium is cooled to condensation temperature by a condenser i.e. air cooled heat exchanger, where the condensation temperature is not smaller than 100 degree Celsius during normal operation of a motor vehicle. Overheating temperature of the working medium in the Rankine-circuit lies above 330 degree Celsius. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a heat recovery system.
