Thermoplastic molding compositions comprises: polyamides or their blends and other thermoplastic materials, and a stabilizer comprising a mixture of copper oxalate and at least one copper halide or a mixture of copper oxalate, at least one copper halide and at least one further alkali metal halide. An independent claim is included for producing the thermoplastic molding composition, comprising adding the polyamides or their blends and other thermoplastic materials and the mixtures, and carrying out the polymerization process.
