A data exchange-filter module (106) blocks an access to the hard disk when temperature of the hard disk reaches a preset value and/or provides the access to the hard disk when temperature of the disk reaches another preset value. A hard disk controller (1031) stops a disk operation after blocking the hard disk access and/or proceeds the operation after releasing the disk access. A display device (105) displays overheat warnings. An independent claim is also included for a hard disk temperature rise protection method.
