The adjustment mechanism has a propelled drive component with a thread and another drive component formed as a drive element. The latter drive component is rotatably mounted around a drive rotational axis (M) and has another thread. A blocking element is provided at the latter drive component, which is transferred into a blocking position by the rotation of the drive element. The blocking element blocks the rotation of the drive element in the blocking position. The drive element is rotatably mounted at or in a fixed housing component.
