The microscope (100) has an optical element i.e. dichroic mirror (106), for bringing an illumination light path and an imaging light path together, where the imaging light path is formed to guide excitation light for illumination of an object (103) i.e. sample, and the imaging light path that is formed to guide light. An objective (101) is arranged in the paths for microscopic observation of the object. A concave mirror (102) e.g. parabolic mirror, is designed and arranged in such a manner to focus the excitation light that passed through the objective, on the object.
