The bending device (1) has three contact elements (5) for producing bends in a pipe (2). The contact elements are arranged on a side of a rigid support (3) and connected to an internal surface of the pipe in a form-fit manner. The bending device is positionable in the interior of the pipe. The contact elements have a spring i.e. leaf spring. A press is arranged between the support and the contact elements for generating force, which acts on the pipe. The contact elements are made of a firm and/or elastic material.
