The drive unit (1) has a main motor (3) for driving a planetary gear (7) with a first shaft (71), where the gear is supported with a second shaft (72). A torque vectoring-engine (5) drives another planetary gear (9) via a first shaft (91), of the latter gear, that is connected to a third shaft (73) of the former gear with a wheel (R1) of an axle. A second shaft (92) of the latter gear is fixedly connected to another wheel (R2) of the axle and to a third shaft (93) of the latter gear. The second shaft (92) of the latter gear rotates with the third shaft (93) of the latter gear. The main motor is designed as an electric motor or an internal combustion engine.
