The gas flow distributor (1) comprises a gas generator of an airbag module, where one portion (11) is provided for connecting the gas flow distributor with the gas generator. Another portion (12) is provided for bringing gas stream flowing through the gas generator from an initial position in a working position. The latter portion extends inside the former portion in the initial position. An independent claim is also included for an airbag arrangement for a vehicle occupant restraint system.
