The nozzle has a steam port (6), downwardly protruded steam pipe (1), and a steam nozzle (2) arranged at a lower end section of the steam pipe. A frother (4) is provided with a low pressure chamber (3) and an emulsifying chamber (13). A case (5) encloses the steam pipe and the frother and is provided with a suction opening (7) for air and an outlet (12) for milk froth. A channel (11) for milk froth runs upwardly in a direction of the steam port on the basis of the emulsifying chamber. The outlet for milk froth is arranged above a suction opening for milk. The emulsifying chamber and the channels for milk and milk froth are designed as open trenches in the frother.
