The device e.g. milk frother (2) has a rinsing/cleaning device connected to a hot water delivering channel (3). A milk foam output channel (4), an emulsifying chamber, a milk inlet channel (6) and a milk suction hose (7) guide milk and/or milk foam. The rinsing/cleaning device exhibits a separate channel section, which is inserted in the milk inlet channel or the milk suction hose to clean regions of the device during operation of the device. The rinsing/cleaning device and the separate channel section are made of plastic injection molding.
