The pump (1) has a pump assembly (9) and a drive shaft (6) mounted on a housing (2). A cam (8) is provided in the shaft and attached to the assembly that comprises a piston and a plunger (23). A piston (15) is subjected to impact caused by the cam during delivery stroke. A pressure chamber (24) has volume that varies depending on the position of a plunger. The piston is driven into the chamber by directly applying pressure on the plunger during suction stroke. The housing has a borehole-guide (11) in which the plunger runs through, where the plunger limits the chamber in the borehole-guide.
