The method involves obtaining partial steam quantity in a high pressure part (H) of a steam turbine. The partial steam quantity is supplied to a low pressure part (N) of the steam turbine after isenthalpic relaxation. The partial steam quantity is conducted through a throttle device and is relaxed with it. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a steam turbine with a pressure sensor; and (2) a control- or regulation device for executing the method.
