The method involves accommodating a spoken running wheel with a hub (5) between two holders arranged at a distance from each other. An axis of the hub rotatorily moved without a position of an axis is moved to motion directions. A fixed point of a wheel rim (4) is defined at a maximum deflection at a measuring point. The spoken running wheel is rotated horizontally or vertically around 180 degrees, so that the spoken running wheel is fixed to the holders. The axis is moved until the maximum deflection occurs at the measuring point.
