The saddle has two seat halves (10) arranged at a distance from each other. The seat halves have a seat surface (12) and a lower side averted from of the seat surface. The two seat halves are provided with a vibration damper (26) at the lower side. The vibration damper is arranged independently at the lower side of the seat halves by a carrier (24) of a carrier connecting rod (20). The vibration damper is made up of a spring element, a plastic element or a rubber element.
