The system has a two-point belt (2) running from a seat upper edge to a lower fastening point (9). The fastening point is arranged at a side (4a) of a vehicle seat (4), where the side is turned towards a vehicle interior side. A clamping element (5) is arranged on the two-point belt. The clamping element draws the two-point belt in a non-operational position, which releases a seat surface and/or a backrest surface of the vehicle seat. The clamping element is formed by a spring-elastic draw element, and is displaceably connected with the two-point belt along longitudinal direction of the belt.
