The device has a microphone (M1) arranged on guide elements (F1, F2) partially enclosing a safety belt (2). The guide elements are arranged on a guide rail (F) that corresponds to characteristics of the safety belt. The guide rail is fastened at a vehicle seat (1) attached to the safety belt. A signal line and/or a supply line of the microphone and another microphone and/or a speaker unit (LS) are arranged in guide strands (FS1, FS2) of the guide rail. The guide rail is telescopically adjusted over a length to the guide strands.
