The device has steel pipe segments (2A, 2B) and rotor blades (4) connected to a rotor shaft. A gondola (3) is provided as a machine housing for accommodating a generator, the rotor shaft and a brake. Vertical equipments i.e. wooden beams (5A, 5B), prevent vibration or resonance in the steel pipe segments and are clamped with inner opposite sides of a steel stand pipe (2) using clamping devices (6). Sound absorption elements are arranged over inner circumference of the steel pipe.
