A memory device (1) for a pneumatic refuse suction system with a storage container (6), which a feed opening (5), an outlet opening (9), an axis (7) and in the interior a propulsion device (11) for the transport of waste objects (3) within the storage container (6) in the direction of the outlet opening (9), is characterized in that the propulsion device (11) is rigidly fixed to the inner surface of the storage container (6) is connected, that a mounting (8a, 8b) is provided as a result of which the storage container (6) about its axis (7) is rotatably mounted, and that the feed opening (5) and the outlet opening (9) of the storage container (6) at axially opposite sides of the sepciehrbehälters (6) are arranged. The storage device of the invention (1) on the one hand, takes up little space and, on the other hand, it is ensured even in the case of a large garbage volumes within a short time, a maximum storage capacity and a reliable transfer of the waste into the suction operation.
