Guiding device for use in printing industry to guide e.g. paper, has guide surface over which flexible flat material runs, and gas blow-out channel opening out at guide surface, where guide surface is partially formed from nanomaterial
The device (1a) has a convex curved guide surface (4) over which a to-be-guided flexible flat material (2) runs. A gas blow-out channel (15) opens out at the guide surface to blow-out air or gases. The guide surface is partially formed from nanomaterial (22). The nanomaterial is applied on a partially gas-permeable carrier material (23). The carrier material is formed as microporous material such as sintered or thermally sprayed material. Gas-permeable intermediate spaces are formed in the nanomaterial, where average cross-sections of the spaces lie in a range between 1 nm and 100 nm.
