The exchanger has flow channels provided for guiding hot gas and heat carrier fluid. A coating consists of plastic or plastic mixture and is provided in partial areas of hot gas contacting flow channel-surfaces for formation of a closed barrier against gas type and/or condensed hot gas components. The plastic mixture for coating consists of a partial crystalline, partial fluorinated or complete fluorinated plastic. The plastic is processed in form of powder coating or in a fluid phase. The coating has a heat conducting and/or diffusion inhibiting pigment content.
