The capsule has a housing in which a sensor device for detecting medical relevant data and a therapy device for application of a therapy agent are arranged. A sensor is arranged at an outer surface of the housing. The sensor comprises an electrode made of precious metal e.g. platinum or gold, that is struck by hydrochloric acid, and another electrode made of silver. A potential is measured between the two electrodes. A magnet element is arranged in the housing navigation by a magnetic field produced by an external magnetic system.
